New Holland's TR rotary combine has always been an industry leading performer. Russ Strong was engineering design leader for product improvement of these machines and later developed the next generation twin rotor processing system, leading to six years in Belgium as leader of New Holland's overall rotary combine research and development.  With the overall challenges of these complex   machines, Strong found combine development to be a serious training ground for customer needs in the areas of performance, serviceability, durability, cab features, and operator ergonomics.
