Accomplished in architecture, R. Strong's work carries a distinct European influence. These works play with concepts in structure, spacial perceptions, classical proportions and details and are blended with the warmth of the indigenous North American architectural heritage. Russ believes that there are solid relationships between successful enduring design and classical architecture.  Strong believes that one of the factors in the strength of the Italian force in Automotive Design is based in their schooling including architectural study emphasis.

Style as with architecture, is not just the form itself, but the fuller context of design with the surroundings and associated feelings to be created. Creating a calm, restful warmth of a place is achieved with different architecture than that required to project a bold experience in urban art, for instance..

Russ Strong's study of Classical architectural line and proportion plays well with his colorful and innovative following of modern trends. This brings an ability to push style trends forward while yet holding a wide appreciation from a classical "conservative" market. This is evident in both his work in Architecture and the Ag and Industrial fields.

A collaborative project of Integrated Vision and Snowfire Consultancy produced this prototype garden shed for Country Home Products .  Designs of this simple but classical post & beam structure have been made available by Country Home Products. These plans are widely recieved and the building fits beautifully in a variety of garden settings.
